MADE/NAEC Sensitization Program








Market Development Programme ( MADE)  is applying a market development approach to improve market access, increase economic activities, and raise the income of 150,000 people half of whom will be women.
Nigerian Agricultural Enterprise Curriculum (NAEC) is helping farmer and processor to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills by providing them with practical and theoretical procedures for best agricultural practices. So they are holding a one day free sensitization Programme all farmers are invited in Cross River state....

Cage Fish Farming and Economy Development

Do you know that cage fish farming is creating income opportunities and improving livelihood in Nigeria through skills and capacity development?
The Osin Farm in Osun State adopted cage fish culture technology in 2009 and they were able to produce one ton of tilapia fish each with 2x2 meter 18 cages and the farm employ 65 workers mostly youths.
If every state in Nigeria adopt cage fish culture technology, unemployment will decrease drastically and of course it will improve our livelihood.

A visit to DE BUCHAZ Farm

I took a trip to DE BUCHAZ Farm and I was impressed. De BUCHAZ Farm have Fisheries and poultry section, their poultry is mainly layers and they boast of good quality egg, low cholesterol level, their fishes are well fed with the right feed composition and their maintainance practices is superb.. The farm is own by a lady currently undergoing Enterprenuership Development training at SSEDC in  Calabar. It good to see women involved in Agriculture....

Nigeria Agribusiness Group Annual Meeting (NABG)








Today Nigeria Agricbusiness Group is holding there General Annual Meeting at muson center onikan, they are bringing all Agric stakeholders together to know the way forward in Nigeria Agriculture. The president of this group is Sani dangote. NAGB goals is to serve as an all inclusive private sector group- setting policy direction through public sector engagement. Today all agric stakeholders are meeting ranging from farmers to agro dealers and agric policy makers. I will bring you more pictures......
